Splitfire Help

Post  AJ.Z on Sun Jan 11, 2009 1:23 am

I posted this on NH, but I need as much help as I can get.

It's a basic USED Splitfire with one malfuctioning barrel. After I apply preesure to the pump which obviuosly pumps air into the chambers, the left barrel when peering down the front lets the air out prematurely. I have tried lubing it with silicone spray, and solid lube (just a bit) and it didn't do much. Somene told me to let it sit with several pumps in it, but the left barrel can't even hold air with out letting it out first. If I pump really fast, I can fire both chambers right after the first pump. Thanks

Okay, go to a local supermarket and get a thing of mineral oil. Take the mineral oil, open it up, pour some into the cap of the mineral oil, then pur it all into the barrel. Let it sit for 24 hours. BAM!

That's not a good idea.
Never use petroleum products with nerf guns. They cause the rubber and/or plastic to degrade.

If you don't like it, ask CS.
